We are filming one person for every man detained on Manus Island.

Progress: 223/550

Asylum seekers who come by boat without a visa are denied settlement in Australia. They are taken to Manus Island in Papua New Guinea, where they face mandatory detention.

Many of these refugees have been detained for over 4 years whilst waiting for a solution. They often face shortages of food and water, inadequate medical attention and high rates of mental illness.

We are filming one person for every man detained on Manus Island.
